Mayo Gaels "Fight Night" line up announced
The eagerly awaited line up for the Mayo Gaels White Collar Boxing “Fight Night” has been announced. In what promises to be a great night there are some mouth-watering clashes on the exciting card. There will be 12 fights on the night comprising of current players, past players and some local “celebrities”. 3-number lotto draw on January 23rd
The annual draw for all lotto tickets that had three numbers during 2011 will take place in Warde's pub, Ballyglass on January 23rd. There are five prizes of €100. The following is a list of tickets that are in the draw:

Gaels players "White Collar Boxing" event
Mayo Gaels intermediate players are running a fundraising "White Collar Boxing" event in January 2012. The event will take place on January 28th in the Resource Centre in Balla. Mayo Gaels players and a few "celebrity" guests will take part. Chief organisers are Derek Vahey and Kevin Brett. Tickets are on sale at a very reasonably priced €10. It promises to be a great night. Tickets can be obtained from any player or club officer.

Mayo Gaels AGM
Mayo Gaels AGM took place in the clubhouse on Sunday last, December 11th. A large crowd attended. The Chairman John Gallagher addressed the meeting and welcomed all present where he outlined all the work carried out during 2011. He also thanked all volunteers for all their help during 2011 and looked forward to it continuing it in 2012. There were also reports from Secretary Maureen Burke who reflected on the achievements of the intermediate retaining their championship status and a strong finish to the league resulting in promotion to Division 1C as a result of the restructured leagues. Bord na nOg AGM
Mayo Gaels Bord na nOg AGM took place in the clubhouse on Sunday last, December 11th. A large crowd attended to hear reports from Secretary Martin Henry and Chairman Paul Murtagh. In a comprehensive report the Chairman outlined the performance of each team and their achievements. The highlight being the U-14s capturing the county championship title. He also reflected on the great performances of the U-8s, U-10s and U-12s in Go-Games and various tournaments.
