Paul Mannion helps Mayo to Connacht Junior title
Congratulations to Paul Mannion who lined out in goal for the Mayo junior team as they captured the Connacht Junior title in Hyde Park on Sunday. They overcame Galway on a score line of 2-12 to 0-10. They will now face the UK champions.

Championship game confirmed for Saturday at 6pm
The first round of the intermediate championship has been confirmed for next Saturday evening in Hollymount at 6pm.

Paul Mannion selected for Mayo junior team
Well done to Paul Mannion who has been selected in goal for Mayo junior team for the Connacht final against Galway on Sunday. The game will take place in Hyde Park, Roscommon at 2pm.

Intermediate team comprehensively beaten. Mayo Gaels 1-1 Kilmaine 1-13Mayo Gaels suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Kilmaine in this, the fourth round of the Breaffy House Hotel Senior Football League Division 1C game at Abbey Park on Sunday. It was a cold windy day and it took both teams a while to get to grips with the conditions. Kilmaine had the advantage of the wind in the first half and eventually started the scoreboard ticking with a point from play after five minutes. Almost immediately the Gaels responded when James Fallon and Joe Walsh won possession at midfield and a high ball in was broken by Danny Burke to Shane Lyons. Minors bow out of league. Mayo Gaels 1-3 Louisburgh 2-8
Our minors interest in this year's league ended in Abbey Park on Friday evening when they were well beaten by an impressive Louisburgh side on a final score line of Mayo Gaels 1-3 Louisburgh 2-8.

U-14s win. Mayo Gaels 4-7 Bonniconlon 1-8
Our U-14s continued their good league form with a win over Bonniconlon on Thursday evening. Their ability to find the back of the net proving the difference as they ran out winners on a score line of Mayo Gaels 4-7 Bonniconlon 1-8. Their final league game is at home to Kilmeena on Thursday week May 24th.

U-16s beaten in final league game. Mayo Gaels 1-12 Parke 4-8
Our U-16 team lost out to Parke in their final league game in Abbey Park on Tuesday evening. While the Gaels lads played very well Parke's ability to get goals at vital stages proved the difference. They now face an anxious wait to see if they make the final stages.

U-12s win first league game. Carras 4-6 Mayo Gaels 6-5
Our U-12 team played an exciting game with Carras on Monday evening. The young games lads played great stuff and lead handsomely but Carras got back into the game with two late goals. Their next game is at home to Monday week May 21st at 7pm.
